Montero Sport ??

Any of you folks have experience with 4x4 Montero sport ? Seems like it could be a great bang for the buck rig that is plenty capable ? Am I thinking correctly here or am I way off base ? Input would be greatly appreciated before I start this journey to purchase/build my first offroad rig. This will be a rig for off roading only and not a daily driver. Would serve as my hunting/fishing truck as well.

Imo which is like a asshole... I'd go with a Cherokee or 4Runner for first trail rig can't count all the awesome memories wheeling my first trail rig, a grand Cherokee... I've never seen a montero off-road tho they may be badass!??

Montero is IFS front. If you plan on running bigger tires, that will become an issue. Also consider locker/lift availability and cost.
