@Susan5679 's was yesterday. We've been dating for a year now.
I bought her a Glock 19 Gen 5 and took her shooting with it.

I also cooked for her and her entire family also.
Filet Mignon and a homemade chocolate cheesecake to boot!

XMas I bought my wife a cordless 18v blower, she loves it. Of course she also mows the grass and doesn't want to mess with a gas blower.

Took my pops camping down in Santee for his 63rd. Case of beer included. Took a picture of him standing up against the biggest cypress tree I've ever found (8'+ diameter) and paid to have the image printed onto a 9x12 and framed.
 
Bought my wife a Stihl leaf blower for Mother’s Day one year. The nice one that is easy to start so she can use it.
 
Apparently I suck at birthdays, because I've got the wife some good presents but I can't remember for the life of me what they are. I'm contemplating a digital piano for her birthday next month.
I did get her some drag race tickets last year, among other things.

I voted "Idiot" for fun! I bought my wife a S&W 9mil Shield for Cmas and of course did the range and ammo to boot. But it sounds like you're trying too hard to impress the family! They may want to come back!

My wife got me a new gun for two birthdays. This year I got a tool box. Got a gun safe for christmas one year.
 
I Re read the original post, I voted idiot. One year and you are buying yer GF a Glock! just pray you never piss her off and y'all end up on the news.
 
Whatever you are, you're a smarter man than I am...one year I actually believed 'we don't have to do anything'. No gift, no flowers, no card, no dinner, zero plans of any kind, went about the day like any other. Most redneck gift I ever bought her were some 9mm earrings at the local gun show.
 
Well lets see,hubby has gotten me guns from .22 up to 7.62x39 rifles an pistols. Leaf spring light fixer,CJ mirror vanity ,several Jeeps ,tools so I can work on my Jeeps. My own sewing room with toolbox for all the bits that go with sewing. Several kids 4 legged of course. Thats just a start.
