I honestly wonder what the stats are through the years of, technology being added to cars (fancy radios and buttons and gadgets) vs. safety improvements in relation to motor vehicle deaths. Obviously the population increase alone means more motorist = more fatalities. But, just something I think about a lot as I see idiots relying on tech to drive the car for them (accident avoidance, a big screen tv on the dash, XYZ.) and damn near kill me in my old not tech filled truck.
Surprised my brother, cousin or I didnt end up like that. We would throw them over my grandparents house at each other.
That’s not petty, that’s reasonable. My previous employer had a few EV charging stations. I asked my department manager if he would pay for my gas. He looked at me like I had 3 heads and asked why? I said because you’re paying for theirs and pointed to the EV chargers. It makes no more sense for the government or companies to pay for EV charging stations than it does to pay for people’s fuel.
