Doing first aid training at Cub Scouts a few weeks ago, Scoutmaster is having kids play out scenarios and the other kids guess the correct course of action. First one is poison ivy on the kids leg. My smartass says “Amputate!” The boys thought it was HILARIOUS! And of course every answer from the kids for everything after that was “Amputate!”

We used to haul grandma’s empty Pepsi bottles in and trade them for some coin. We’d get a small cut of the proceeds and buy the candy that came with the parachute guy or a ring pop.
