id be willing to make a small wager that the person driving that Jeep is a millennial them selves.

most talked about group but most don’t realize the age range.

but gen z doesn’t sound as good
I always get this confused gen z is after millennial, right ?

I don't know who comes up with this crap, but there is an insane difference between an early 80s baby (now in their late 30s) and a mid-late 90s baby (in their early 20s, had the internet and smartphones all of their adult life).

Keep in mind a generation isn't defined just by what changes during that lifetime. It's based on a huge chunk of a lifetime, enough to grow into adulthood. E.g. 15 year minimum. There's always going to be a big difference between those on the edges.
And even in 96 the Internet was just becoming a big thing, a lot of people were still using dial up modems. And cell phones of any kind weren't mainstream yet. That was right around the booming time for those.

That's my point. They are grouping people who were 16, driving, and not even using dial up in 1996 with people who took their smartphones to elementary school.

I was born in 83, but my body identifies as a Boomer :(

Born in the second month of 81, had dial up early on with a Mac, thought the internet was a joke, more fun to play in the woods! Got into cars and chasing girls (I guess when the internet got better), hunting, fishing, fixing your first car was more fun than staring at a screen hoping for a fuzzy boob shot!

What choice is there?
Making it smaller then isnt a generations width of time.
Tech will always evolve quickly. If you use tgat to define things you'll have hubdreds of small groups.
