A shop I used to work at had a phone on the back wall by the tech bays (pre cellular days). If you got a call they paged it out to that phone. Well the guys in the shop would rub anti-seize in the earpiece and then have the front desk page somebody to it while they (well us) would watch and giggle like school girls. Man that sucked, then you would get complacent and get got again.

^^^ um, that's a bit misguided. Think about it.

One had 2 wars and a new department (nsa)to create and fund and a 4th ammendment to stomp all over....

The other bailed out some rich dudes and created a new department (aca based) and an entire constitution to stomp on.

"One STARTED 2 wars and CREATED A NEW department (nsa) and a 4th amendment to stomp all over....

President Bush
signed the bill into law within hours of its enactment, creating a $700 billion dollar Treasury fund to purchase failing bank assets. The revised plan left the $700 billion bailout intact and appended a stalled tax bill - October 2008

The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (enacted October 3, 2008), commonly referred to as a bailout of the U.S. financial system, is a law enacted in response to the subprime mortgage crisis authorizing the United States Secretary of the Treasury to spend up to $700 billion to purchase distressed assets, especially mortgage-backed securities, and supply cash directly to banks.

Nothing political to see here, just a fact I found humor in.
