Teachers in the late 80's N E V E R looked like Ms. Vaughn

I think it was a requirement from 1977-1991 that all newly graduated teachers must start teaching 1-4th grades and stay there until their cooters all but dried up. At THAT point they were allowed to move to middle schools. Once they could produce dust from sitting down too fast, they were then granted the ability to teach HS

Couldn't agree more!

I recall a teacher I had in elementary school (probably can't forget for the rest of my life) that must have slipped by that rule... She was blonde, petite, and her name...I kid you not....was Miss Boner. If I recall correctly, despite the 3+ decade time span since then, her name matched the feels.

I had one in HS that also slipped under the radar. She taught psychology, was HOT, and all the HS boys were in love with her (myself included). Her name was … Ms Rash

I was raised on this! Mac n' cheese was not a thing in my house, but cinnamon toast was the go-to for a fussy eater of a child!

Yup…cinnamon toast for breakfast…bologna with crushed up doritos on top for lunch…generally some form of venison/hamburger helper for dinner
