I actually saved that and was gonna make a separate post. After being in that scenario…how do you not advocate the imperfect US way of doing things? This is ‘if it’s so bad here, go somewhere else’ unfolding right before our eyes.

After 3 months…finally got upstairs air back. That’s seriously helping the mobile downstairs units. Finally breaking down and think the downstairs unit is gonna be swapped from Trane to a Rheem or Goodman. Part delay after part delay. Hell, even tried buying a new $7k Trane unit for the downstairs and can’t seem to get anything to show up without delays.

Trane has a standing 27 week lead time on even the most popular units.

Goodman is owned by Daikin and has the very best warranty in the business (for residential) which is a 5 yr parts.

You can't go wrong with a Goodman as most parts are in the shelf at ACR.
