There is a department chief at my work who walks around like that every day!
that movie was weird
I just want people that know their way around town without following a digital map all the time.I rarely get delivery, but wish this would become a thing again. Even with all the tech, 30min delivery time would be great.
Although, my dad is finally able to get things delivered to his house, which wasnt the case back then. He was outside the 30min radius.
No one under 40 will have the memory of your parents pulling into a gas station and telling your little young ass to get out and go get a map so they can find out Where TF you are and how to get to where you're going.I just want people that know their way around town without following a digital map all the time.
Lame. These are so much better:No one under 40 will have the memory of your parents pulling into a gas station and telling your little young ass to get out and go get a map so they can find out Where TF you are and how to get to where you're going.
Hell I still order a road atlas once every 4 years or so to keep in the vehicle I'm traveling in![]()
I call him Maurice personally
Never did that. My dad kept a southeast map and individual state maps for every state from FL to MD, which is pretty much all we traveled. No one under 40 will have the memory of your parents pulling into a gas station and telling your little young ass to get out and go get a map so they can find out Where TF you are and how to get to where you're going.

Same, but when we ventured to New Orleans and other destinations west of the Mississippi we had to rely on more localized maps. Gas stations always had the city maps with all the secondary roads that the big state maps didn't showNever did that. I guess if I had to choose from the 3, Iād prefer to be called The Space Cowboy.I call him Maurice personally
