My dad used to race dirt track, and doing the track walk before practice one night he saw something shiny in just barely peeking up from the track. Dug up an intact 100ft tape measure. Brought it home, washed it out and been using it 30 plus years.

My niece has been working at our local DG since they opened. When they first opened it was almost all self check out, now its only 1 cashier. They closed all the self check out because of so many people stealing stuff she said. Damn thieves.
