Motor home question?

I've thought about that for my truck but I'd want the 08+ tailgate with the step for my better half. Only down side is those tailgates sell for 500 and up usually, cheapest one with the step I saw was near a grand.

With my top it takes 6 minutes to fold it down....and with this I could stand UP

If I was younger and dumber maybe lol. A buddy of mine has a red truck with it and I told him he needed to sell it, sadly he declined.

I still may get a truck bed tent but I want to run a tool box as well so may have to get a short bed tent.

I want to run a tool box as well so may have to get a short bed tent.

That's what I'll be running with if I get one. This one actually has a complete floor, so if you DID run a toolbox, you're not compromising getting wet because it's basically a complete tent....that fits in a truck bed

That tent is freaking sweet, I could put a little ac unit in there too! @CasterTroy that is a hell of a good idea! I could build a set of treated steps and carry them on the trailer. And like was said, still have room to put an ezup over the tail end for a porch. Hmmm I'm gonna think hard about that tent.

Just checked and my trailer is 6'11". I believe I could still make it fit, and figure out a way to secure it.

Look for an ez up text that will fit. I have one that I can stand up in and put to Queen size mattress and have room for other stuff still and it goes up in 2 minutes

I think that's the route I'm going as well......at least until I can gather the cabbage for a true slide-in and maybe a place to store it.

I think I'm going the portable AC unit as well....one of the +/- 8,000 btu units

My generator is a 5kw Honda....sounds like a push mower though, not the uber-quiet type but maybe I won't piss too many people off.

What'll be bad is us all lined up at Potts with 3 or 4 of these identical tents on trailers next to one another

Depends of MFG....but typically an 8000 would be:
+/- 8 amps
+/- 900watts

12,000:
+/- 11 amps
+/- 1,300 watts
