Mounting a tire on a bead lock wheel help

Mine always leaked down.

Never used bead sealer on my allieds and they never leaked down. With 2 different sets of tires.

I stick with my DIY beadlocks, saw too many Allied's get peeled off. A good fix is to have a set of outer rings cut, like the ones used in the DIY sets. @Paul can school you on this.
I didn't use the silicon on mine. No leaking until I rode them a while, I think mainly because of getting dirt down in them because of low PSI. I put a qt of slime in all of mine and cure that.

I also used the five gallon bucket method of putting them together. Hard on the back putting them together, but easier to get the wheel and tire on it. The 30 gallon drum would be nice if you had help getting the tire and wheel up on it.

Just found two of these in the envelope that the bolts came in (two per wheel). Are these for screw on valve stems? Are these to lock in two of the bolts?

EDIT: Nope, they're spare inserts for the 32 threaded holes in the wheel. And yes, they're a press-in part, looks like they're likely a PEM part. If that's the case, they're probably made in Winston-Salem by Penn Engineering (I use a lot of PEM parts), which is the best out there and just happen to be an NC company.

Ahh, cool, so nothing I need to install now?

You can get a full set (per wheel) for $15 from the wheel manufacturer, that's how I found out what they are. They're listed in the accessories area on their site.
