these guys are terrible and we are both prettty happy go lucky folks .. we canoe and walk and bike and garden we do all sorts of things in addtion to work.. we have been together for a long time and are commited to each other..

Yes , Master's level education.. Advertising. although I dont work in that field anymore. I just teach children and work for a another company as well.
 
Thanks.. i see it .. is just a childish thing that all the boys do. it helps them get it out. I too got caught up momentarily.. But now friends are calling me and telling me all the crazy stuff.. I feel embarressed for all of us.


in anycase i am not mad.. And my husbands feelings were crushed when something bad happened to him.. I think he is very sorry for the disturbance and he feels it.. i think its all crazy how all these guys get hurt over this stuff.. Everyone has an ego.. everyone gets hurt.. he is hurting too guys .. he wants to be friends with everyone.. he shot his stupid mouth off and others did and it obviously got out of control.. it is obvious that it has been affecting more than just him. its a closed group and he basically alienated himself with just a prod from another. he must have been upset to go off like that. i know he is sorry to everyone . i am too. for my part . i seriously just want to let bygones be bygones.

we are obviously outnumberd .. so can we stay and play and show eeveryone our better sides. we arent terribly good at being nasty and i think it shows. we are both people with consciences . WILL EVERYONE FORGIVE OUR TRESSPASSES AND CAN WE RESTART OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT> I GOT A PHONE CALL THAT PROMPTED MY ANGER.

He does contract stuff. we have been both been married previously and we have been together for 14 years. we are healthy in the dept. you are referring too.
 
Is this because my husbands wants to leave to live in another state. ? is that why you ask,. he wants to go.. i will go eventually or not. that is the deal.

this isnt really a "closed" group. there's new members here daily..... it's all in how you present yourself. i know you saw that first-hand with your first for sale thread..... things can always turn around. good luck.
 
thanks.. I see that.. i see it all now a lot more clearly and will explain to my silly husband that he needs to make a formal apology and stick to it. he worked in the auto industry up in michigan and misses part of that life. He worked for Spartan Chassis for a long time. he misses it in a way.

I'm just curious. Just trying to understand where you're coming from and how you and your hubby (are you formal or common law?) got to this point on NC4x4.

Mcreary, I had a few pm's back and forth with your husband, and did call him out atleast once. He should definately take a chill pill once in a while, but we all have bad days or weeks. Bring the Punisher truck out to the BDB Spring Event coming up. Itll be a good time, ya can put names to faces, and he will get the chance to prove hes not a total dbag.

See now that's just nice.Things definitely get a little out of hand on here from time to time.I for one didn't get to read anything that ruffled my feathers,plus I am the kind to just let things slide anyways,So I hope you and your husband find a spot on this forum that makes you happy.Y'all ought to hold onto that truck though as long as you are in NC.There are a bunch of great places to wheel,plus right up from Uwharrie (Like 1 1/2 miles) is a great place to Canoe,you can load in from the side of the road.Wheeling over there is great too and Guys from this forum are headed out every weekend.I haven't met anyone from here yet that I didn't like.

i'll give ya some props for defending your man. It sounds to me as if you came onto this forum expecting us all to be assholes. If you start making posts assuming that we are all assholes, then we are gonna act like assholes.

From what i gather your husband had fairly non public falling out with a member or two on here. I say non public because i havent read anything from him or seen anyone say anything to him that was out of line until his posting that he didnt want anything to do with this place anymore.

You seem like you have come to your senses and are treating us a little better, and now we are more than happy to return the favor.

You actually seem pretty cool when you dont have your panties in a wad, lol. I can understand you reacting the way you did if you thought your husband was ill treated here, but i doubt the community as a whole is capable of that kind of mindset.

We are not a closed group, but we are a close knit group. we are all friends here, and if there is an issue, lets work it out, not just throw bad attitudes around.
 
I think i may keep it.. I am grabbing paint for him to repaint it today.. he said he will do it this afternoon.. LOOK OUT HOT PINK!!!!!!!!!! ...lol I have other plans for the truck to take itUP UP UP // i am gonna come out to play I think.. I wanna see all the GOLD you guys keep so safe...LOL I might bake cookies so that way I KNOW YOU WILL LIKE ME....lololol thanks... and thanks to those of you who showed interest in the truck.. i am gonna prolly end up keeping it and you boys in addtion to mine can show me how to use it. thanks.

it's great how this has turned around, I only see a few asshats still trying to stir the pot.
My PM's back and forth with you were blunt, and to the point, no harm no foul. Let me give you a little advise.
Start off by treating people like you would want to be treated.
Don't judge everyone because of a few that have to try and be a bigger ass than you were being( I did say were!)
Ya need to get a little more thick skinned. Don't let every comment rub you raw. Like the questions you were being asked. Just tell him thanks but no thanks, you are already taken.
DON'T paint the truck Pink. It will be like putting a bullseye on it. Just paint over the hood.
Do some searching on what we do, you may find out that it isn't for you. The reason I say that is the vids you all posted are, well, as many thought, lame. It's not fourwheelin, it's not rock crawlin, and it's not muddin. It's just driving. You may find it's a bit more involved than you thought. Not telling you, just sayin.
Lay low for a while, things tend to be forgotten, unless another situation comes up that will bring this back up again.
Not sure where pickleville is, I am thinking Mt Olive maybe.
I am a member of a couple clubs, one of which may be up your alley. Carolina Trail Blazers welcome new folks. It's a chance to learn to wheel with some seasoned veterans of the sport, and then go your own way. I will with them often, but not all the time. CTB is having a 40th year bash down at URE in September. Stay tuned to up coming events.
