Multi Camera install on my 2016 GMC 2500

I met a company a few months back that specialize in jeep screen replacements and adding cameras to cars/trucks.

After some chatting with them they sent me a setup to test. This is not a product sale post this is a information post so others understand what you get if they buy it.

Product is from Stinger Solutions.

It is a mini computer installed in dash with mirror cameras, front camera and trailer camera as my truck already came with a backup camera and integrates into existing screen.

I want to state first this is not for the faint of heart. this took us 6 hrs with 2 guys working on it the entire time and my son helping on and off through out the day.

we had to take apart the dash, glove box, both driver and passenger doors, floor panels and run wires through firewall.

you do not need to take off headlights, i did as one of my blink lights went out so i changed them both

testing front camera and making sure we mounted it correctly

here is what the touch screen looks like after it is all installed. You can select each item individually if you wish but one thing to remember is once you put truck in reverse the backup camera overrides whatever you have selected. Where it shows OTHER is my front camera.

also when you turn on turn signal it will choose which side you have selected as long as you dont check the double arrow at top right. if you click on double arrow on top right then the screen will not change to mirror camera when you put on turn signal.
