NC Inspection at NCDMV

He didn't care what I had to say when I said the springs were replaced with something comparable. So pissed....

I know it's a drive, but I always go to one certain place. (PM me for address) They usually do not care at all.

You could take it somewhere else, but most people won't mess with it because if they pass it when someone else failed it it'll flag the system and possibly result in an audit for the station, and possibly a DMV agent at your house wanting to inspect it themselves. We've had a few customers fail elsewhere for tint, then they pull the tint and got is to pass it. Dmv came to our shop once and visited two of our customers at home.

Never had one take more than 10 mins (all of mine have been 95 or older). pull up to the shop, tell mickey i need an inspection hand him last years and 15 bucks. turn on lights and flashers. he types in the info and comes back with the paper work.

"I have a guy" too, but if they take 15 min or less, more than 1 or 2 times a week, they get an audit.

The state says "technically" you can do a safety inspection in (MIN) 15 minutes but if you post more than one a week it sends up a flag. I always schedule 20-30 min every time I need one inspected.
 
Yea he takes time in between inspection. He does ours quick because they are old I guess

Haha I go to Mickey too! Never had a problem with him! Great guy too, I went to high school with his 2 sons.
