NC Lift Laws ?

WOW!
Lift ticket in SC?
Im not even sure what the laws are having lived here for over 25 of my years....

I can tell you when I had my poser K5 (That rode way above 44"s before 49's were thought of but would have cleared them easily)

I got pulled 2 times. Once for cruisin through town with open headers, and no shit the cop had me take pictures of him sitting in my blazer with his camera.

And I got pulled by another cop who just wanted to check it out, and would never tell me why he pulled me just looke laughed and smiled...

I drove that truck daily for 2.5 -3 years...total over 20" of lift....... I wouldnt worry about SC

Might want to look around the Charlotte area. there are lakes around there, mountains are close, and ocean w/in 5-6 hours.

For an idea of real estate prices,

I really liked their search/browse functionality when we were looking for a house.
We looked forever, (wife and I are real picky) and that was the easiest to use site we found.

As for parts of NC or SC lots of areas have advantages and disadvantages.
I'm partial to the Raleigh area, (but that's cause I live here:) )
Wilmington area is best price/stuff to do/chance for business near a beach.
Raleigh/Durham/Chapell Hill/Cary/etc etc etc is nice for a decent sized city, traffic isnt to bad and it's bug enough to support almost any business. If the business is done well. Also has a hockey team, and arguably some of the best college basketball in the nation. (And some of the worst football :( )
Greensboro is cheaper, smaller, (than the combined cities) but you can get out into the country MUCH quicker. AKA 20 acres of land type country. Closer to mountains, not to far from the beach (3ish hours or so)
Charlotte is a big city, bigger airport, weird with the pricing though. Has an amusement park. Closer to SC :) Has the Carolina Panthers. Not really sure about other things there. Nice rugby pitch though :) But Raleigh has a nice pitch as well.

Boone etc, are REALLY nice, great for tourism, etc. But depending on what your business interests are, might be harder to support it. College and tourism, those will be your support.

I love Va, but they are VERY VERY strict and annoying about lift laws.

Fayetteville is nice but mostly military, most major cities are not too far, housing is not too expensive the beaches are depending on where you want to go 1.5-2.5hrs away and if you want mountains it is a little farther of a drive.

Drove it for the first time with my new set up over to George's the other day and out to 85. Swilved the Patrolman's head but he kept going. I do run a SC tag in NC for inspection purposes though.
