I live off of Mallard Creek Rd. in between Harris and Sugar Creek. I occassionally drive an emerald green '97 TJ with an orange CJ tailgate. I can also be spotted in a gold '88 XJ with some trimmed fenders, budget boost and 31's....

i live in the neighborhood lexington, on the back way to the mall...
 
dang... i live in legacy park, on the left, right before you get to the first store coming from harris and headed towards the mall.... we should all get together sometime and shoot the shit.... i usually pimp my silver mazda 929 with the yellow duct tape covering the bullet hole in the sunroof and a basspro sticker on the back window but occasionally i bring out my yota (black 91 reg cab w/ tube bed and plexiglass tailgate)
 
Considering I'm not even a 'member' of this group...at least not yet...feel free to totally disregard my comments altogether, but if you wanna read 'em...here they are...(written as if I were a member, for simplicity's sake)

I think it'd be real neat if we all had some kind of sticker to identify us to one another. We can be driving down the road and see an awesome rig and think it's somebody but not know for sure. However, if we all have stickers we know if they're a part of the group. As for the 'to one another' part, it doesn't have to say 'NC4x4'. It can be something discreet, kind of like how the Christians started using the fish symbols back in Roman times so other Christians could identify them. In other words, something WE would recognize, but not something that tells 'outsiders' we're members of an off-roading group.

Did I make that complicated enough? :p

I know who we should all bum coin off!
The last company I managed did all the low voltage work in that nighborhood, them are some pretty damn nice houses.
All though most JWH neighborhoods are nice

You can see my Jeep at the Mallard Creek Fire Department, usually at least twice a week.
 
heres a little brainstorm on a sticker/badge for wheelers. the colors represent rock (gray), sand (tan), mud (brown) and general outdoor greenery (green). the optional blue outline would be for water. just a quick mspaint:

hell after looking at it, it might make more sense to wrap the logo with black/dark grey tire color--maybe with tread--to signify that we DRIVE this, not just look at it/like it.....
 
i kinda like that. i'd make the green blue (for water) though and make the outline a tire w/ tread like you said...

probably don't need this much "tire" in the pic...but I just scanned through some of my wheelin' pics to find a straight-on shot of a tire from the side, and this was the best I found (we'll see who recognizes who's tire it is)...

A logo is an identity, no matter if it is script or pictographs.

What makes this idea any different than the former? That it isn't widely known? How long you think it would take?

Pretty tough to have a secret when it's plastered on the web.

As has been said previously;

The whole basis for not handing out stickers with the NC4x4 logo is that folks have shown no concern with following the BASIC rules and expectations of responsible off-roading, there for making THIS forum a target and all those who participate in it responsible for others actions, whether you like it or not.

Unfortunatly, this is the way it has happened, only dedication and hard work will change it, by everyone, not just a few.

I don't thing that NC4x4 can back any stickers at this time. If your in your rig, and have a CB, just turn it on while traveling in town.

im a microsoft paint guru so i made a perfect with the fish and wheels and whatnot just because of spare time but then realized i couldnt post pictures on here.
