iPad : You have to scroll the whole page until it stops, then scroll in the box, will go up down and side to side


Drag your finger in the box, just because it doesn't have a scroll bar doesn't mean it won't move


Works same way in landscape or portrait positions

I've noticed the way search results are reported is different - now, it lists all cases where the target string was found, even if that means re-listing the same thread multiple times.
Personally I prefer the old way, which only listed a thread once, as it can really save space in the results list.
Also - any chance the "location in" info could be back over to the right where it used to be? IMO that makes it alot easier to sift through results.

try finding the "search thread" or "display as threads" box, and check it. You are (by default) searching posts. Took me a while to figure this out, and it may not be available on every search method.

There's now an icon to collapse forum categories and hide them from view. It's cookie-based, so it should remember your settings so long as you're visiting from the same computer.

Also, I've been chasing a bug in the search engine. If you run a search and get an error to try again later, go ahead and run the same search again. It should work on the second try.

you have a setting of some sort turned off ( or on) I'll poke around in mine and see what I can find.

I switched you to the normal editor. It's got scroll bars on the smiley window. Let me know if that's better or not.

No did not help, maybe blkvoodo will figure it on his iPad, I am not so great with it, I prefer normal laptop, but Chrismas present so I try my best to use it

VBulletin is not built for security but for rapid deployment and ease of use. I am actually surprised that the sites have not been taken down by others and done so more frequently.

I'm not saying XenForo is hacker-proof. Nothing is. But it's a hell of a lot better than what we had before.
