Need a Tree Cut Down

just wait for it to fall down and damage something so insurance will pay to remove it and buy you a nicer version of whatever got damaged.
And then jack your rates or cancel you....

The problem is actually doing it. On a pretty steep hill as well. I reduce the chance of falling, getting hit with a branch, and other things if I don't do it myself...which I am a HUGE fan of. If I can pay someone that knows what they're doing and everyone is happy....thats my choice right there!

Based on what you're saying...you need to hire a tree business with insurance to cover all of the potential issues you're concerned with. Especially the neighbor's items.
Buddy deals are great until a well intentioned buddy is a bit fawked

After a $3k deductable. We JUST went through it
Well, I have a lower deductible.

I actually waited for years to cut down some trees with the hope that they would somehow damage my roof. Then we had a giant hail storm that did all kinds of damage to my roof so we had it replaced. Then I had to pay to take the trees down because I was worried about my new roof.

I bet by now he's already heard from @Danger_Ranger and the quote was more competitive than mine :D

Yeah. Justin is hopefully gonna come out sometime next week. Its not a huge tree by any means and doesn't look like it would be that big of a deal to do, but I'd rather give money to someone who knows what their doing. Its funny, now that I have a wife and kid, I value my life a little bit more these days.
