Felt good to set that engine back down in a properly clean chassis. Had to wait on the radiator/oil cooler to come back from a buddies getting new tabs made and welded onto it (alum)
230 in the morning, fired the damn thing up, had one hell of a leak, time to go to bed
Had a lil hydro leak on fire up. Lost a couple quarts and of course it was buried in the machine, one of the first lines that got hooked up. Don't know whether I loosened it to adjust it and didnt tighten back, or if it came loose moving it to fit some sheathing.
Pretty sure I pushed
@Danger_Ranger too hard and almost killed his ass sending him home at 230 in the morning. It did feel good to fire it up and move it of course. But the hands were definitly sore af. Room is incredibly tight in these machines. It was def time to get some homemade lasagna and some zzzzzzs
Had to homebrew a coolant overflow with some shit I had laying around. Finished my mini tea in the fridge, found a couple fittings, some gorilla tape and dei heatwrap later and bam! Good temporary fix.
Once again making justin pressure wash in the snow. final degrease and wash In 30 degree weather.
It wasn't bad, and it was a bitch all at the same time. Definitly had a couple things that fought us, and a lot that didnt. 18 hydraulic fittings in a 2square foot area is rather excessive, but they all went back together after a little numbering and some process of elemination. I love it when a plan comes together. My hands and knees definitly need a moment.
