So I am looking at putting CUCV axles under a Samurai.
I want to run 44s.
I REFUSE to cut the body.
Zero Body Cutting.
I have some 6x6 wood blocks and some scrap tubular metal (not sure where it came from).

I know my lift idea is the best one.

Can anyone please advise if they have ever broken a wood block lift kit.
Only reply if you were wheeling a Samurai.
On 44s.
On tons.
No body cutting.
Oh and if you Sami wasnt white it doesnt count.
If you had changed the factory air cleaner I dont want to hear from you.
If you wheeled at night and during the day it doesnt count because night wheeling ruins wood blocks, everyone knows that.

I have a free rock playground to play on thats legal. We picked up all the free rocks at some construction site and hauled them there.
Its a powerline trail but legal because there aint no signs.

Thank you in advance for opinion and G'Bless.

Oh I want to put some sitckers on my Sami to make it badass. But not some cheap aftermarket stickers. I am going to repurpose some factory OEM stickers from the baddest ass OEM truck of all time. What stickers should I use?

Thanks.

One time I saw a video of a deer eating a bird so... It will be fine just as long as you use hurricane strapping on the wood.

I'd use those vinyl composite artificial boards. I think Lowe's sells them.

Real world experience would show that:

Threads like this don't get created when sober.

But wait, it was 10AM on a Monday, so WTF...?

FYI, I believe hickory has about the best compressive strength of the readily available USA-made wood. If you're going to use import wood, go with bubinga.

No wait, black locust. That's what you want. You'll be the envy of everyone at the offroad park, as long as you use the proper clear protectant.

You arent reading very well.

WOOD. Natural. Genuine. Made in the forest for wheeling in the forest. No debate here.

BTW cant shop at Lowe's manager at the local store is a douche. I was playing around with my kids and pretended to faint when they showed me their report card in the parking lot and manager ran out and shocked me with a defib. Then sent me a bill. Home Depot of 84 Lumber only for me.

I have some scrap 3/8" acrylic for your windshield. Don't wear glasses though, 3/8" is strong enough to not shatter in a rollover. Its only a samurai after all. They are super light. What is unsprung weight? If it isnt sprung then it doesnt count.

Best just use osb board and glue it to desired ride height, last longer than wood can be painted white and allows for night wheeling! Stickers well that's a rough one, really depends on how much hp your sammi wants to have and how much window space you want to use! But since you refuse to cut the body shit just sticker every panel you'll eventually get up to the same hp as a ford with those 1.1 liter engines... btw I've never even seen a sammi but I hear there a lot like fiats!??

@Ron Let me know when you decide what species you want. I can find these things, it's what I do.

Also heard you can use wood shavings mixed with wood glue for a good set of lift blocks!? Seems legit...

Run treated wood man and you should be all good.

I have a friend who knows a guy who says he has seen someone run ceder blocks...

The only way it'll work is if you use the AutoZone special 12" shackles with atleast an 8x8 creosote blocks. If you can strategically place your railroad tie f/r bumpers you should be good on rubbing.

when you do get those CUCV axles mounted under the sami, be sure to paint them florescent green. This magical color will double the strength. Two coats and you can run 54"s!!!

You've got to build a form and put the whole thing in a press.
