Ever since the first ride in my son’s Tacoma I was hooked on wheeling. Roll ahead a few years and have added a new member to the family in February. The orange 1990 YJ. (Some may know it as the beer holder in the left bay at Rev Limit Fab) My grandson named it Nemo after seeing it the first time so it has stuck.
The huge heavy bumpers, fender flares and snorkel were deleted because “we don’t need those where we’re going”. This is where the changes and challenges begin.
Due to some extreme decay Chris said “I have an idea!” Boatsides! Thanks to Chris Keziah and Adam Kendall they are coming along rather well.
Once the boatsides were underway we decided to go ahead and get the Poison Spyder roll cage, Corbeau seats and up the tires from 35’s to 38’s on beadlocks. There has also been a Holley Sniper fuel injection and ignition system added. The fuel cell came as a birthday gift from my son. XJ springs front and rear on Waggy axles.
When this thing is done it will be a very solid rig thanks to Rev Limit Fab!
