According to our calendar 6 days after Jesus' birth started Jan 1, 1 A.D. that entire year was year 1 on the 365 day we STARTED 2 AD
This is not like a birthday where we number/celebrate it at the end, years are numbered celebrated at the beginning.
This is the 2010 year since the birth of Christ (hypothetically, who knows how good our calendar is...btw do muslims recognize the same year, if so how weird?) on December 31, 2010 we will have completed the 2010th year.

No, that's correct. Their first season was broadcast when you were only months old. Their second season broadcast when you were one year old, their third season when you were two, etc.
