New here and new to the mountains of NC. Seriously looking to get started on a rig to enjoy the many trails in the area. I have been looking on FB marketplace and Craigslist looking for a starter rig to get us going. Something that wont break the bank (to start) and that I can upgrade and modify over time and as things break. Preferably a 4 seater and open / or removable top. Going to look through the classifieds on here when time permits but anyone else have any recommendations for a good classifieds exchange?

Actually, i took out a loan to pay off the balance on my truck and buy this and my payments are less. Yeah, now I have even longer before I am done with loan payments, but monthly budget wise, I came out ahead so it was a win win imo. It has a rebuilt title because of a wreck so got a pretty sweet deal on it compared to similar jeeps with similar mileage and specs.Haha; your Bank account is Sweeter than mine!
