They are (FS) talking about eventually putting in colverts and getting rid of the log bridges all together. Of course thats when there is money in the budget.

the pipe for a culvert wouldn't be to bad but i think installing it following EPA laws it is the costly part. hard to dig in a stream and not have sedimentation issues.
all that needs to be done is lay the pipe in and back fill over it the sediment on the other hand is some thing that will just have to be cleaned out every year bc of all the dirty run off your gona have sediment no matter what u do but it will help with they epa bc we all know the dont like trucks in water run offThere is a culvert on Dutch John past the log bridge. You take the hard immediate right after the log bridge and follow the trail. We cleaned this one out on the cleanup day. It was clogged and water was puddling. There is no rock or anything around it. It appears that it was laid and then back filled. There would need to be more thought put into the culvert systems since sedimentation seemed to have filled this one up.

idk i havent done any in a good amont of time i wont to say last time i got 4 they were close to 100.00 for a 4foot tile give or takeOk, so how much would the culverts run?
