Hey there, I'm Alex and am from Chesapeake Va. and was down in URE over black friday when my TJ decided to cook the fuel pressure regulator on the side of Kodak rock. A guy named Mike and his buddys with a blue Cherokee, (also saw pictures of his yellow TJ on 37" Creepys) showed up, lended a hand, and even gave me a ride into town to pick up some parts! Again! Many thanks! If not for the help of an NC4x4 member, I would have had an even longer day out there trying to get my Jeep back down out of the park. I am still debugging the most recent phase of my Jeep build. '97 TJ on 14" ORI Struts, tube work from the motor mounts forward, full hydro, SM465 4 speed with a Klune V underdrive and Bronco Dana 20 transfer case. 40" sticky Trepadors. I built it all myself in my garage at home so there are still plenty of "little things" to address. Its getting a new cage and seats in the next few weeks I hope. Just have to find some time around the Holidays.
Lions Den in Harlan first weekend of November...
This past weekend in URE right as the fuel pump was giving up.
Also, my wife has an interesting Jeep as well. Her 2004 Columbia edition has an F-150 HPD44 front, Full Width Eaton Rear, H2s, high steer, and a custom wishbone rear, and 3 link mid-arm front. And yes, her front diff Cover is painted Leopard Print.
