New Member Check In - Post HERE <------------------

I am new to the forum, and thought I would post. I joined to try to sell a 58 FC150, but own an 04 LJ, Great8 Safari Top, MetalClock: Fenders/Rock Rail/Ft Bumper and lift on 37s. I am retired from the Army, and have too much time on my hands.
Thanks

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I've been on here or had a reason to be. I sold my Jeep in 2015? I think... and recently got a Suzuki samurai to build... Well I have too many projects and I don't think I'm ever going to finish the Sami so I started looking for another Jeep. I came across this one in SC and picked it up the day before yesterday... It's good to be back in a lifted Jeep...

Hello, lurker for a while and realized I'd never posted here.

Got my first Jeep nearly 3 years ago - 2005 LJ. Slowly figuring out what I want to do with it. Live in Raleigh.

What’s up everybody. Lurked on here for a while, time to join. Been doing the OBX thing for years and I’m finally getting to some trail riding. Been building up my Tacoma the past couple years, ‘13 TRD OR DCSB with lots of mods and SOS armor.

Hit up trail 1 at Brown Mountain OHV last weekend. I guess it shows my inexperience, but it was more challenging than I expected and we had an awesome time. It’s not crazy, but a little more than a dirt road up the mountain! Looking forward to chatting with you and learning about some more wheeling spots.

Hello NC4x4. Been out of the jeep life for a few years. Coming back with a build this year. Lost old account due to lack of memory for old emails/passwords. Glad to be back hope to scoop a project soon. If you are in the Charlotte area with a XJ for sale let me know.

Must've been a few years, I can't find any old account. I merged the two you made last night, tho.

Welcome back!

Hello everyone. For starters, don't hate the name, merely a combo of one of favorite beers and my new "taco", '17 TRD/OR. Grew up in the mtns of Southwest Va., spent a lot time on the fire trails up there. Air Force took me to Southern Nevada where I tried to kill myself off-roading on two wheels. Life happened and finally back to a 4x4. Looking forward to the adventure.

Hey, brand new to 4x4 entirely, got a ‘99 LX470 last April. I have barely the slightest clue what I’m doing and I’ve never taken my stock little princess on a proper trail yet. Looking forward to learning and having fun once trails reopen!

Hey everyone, been in the 4x4 scene a bit but never really had a solid group to venture with. I have a 2012 Nissan Xterra with a few mods I've managed to bolt on. I am mostly in the Davidson area. Hope to meet some of you and find some new trails. I know I need new tires; waiting for the stock ones to bald out first!

Looks sweet. Grab some sliders and a winch and hit the trails!

Just don’t roll it on Dutch John at URE :D

Been a long time lurker and finally joined and honestly I'm not sure why I waited so long.

I've got a Tacoma I've built up a little bit but now I've got a new toy.

About a year ago I bought a 98 TJ 4 banger. Had it about a month and sent a rod through the block. Bought a used motor, rebuilt it from the bottom up, (still a 2.5, I shouldve thought that through some more but was intending it to be a work beater).

Fast forward to now, I've got a HP D60 kingpin with chromo stubs, 5.38's, spartan, slugs, and new bearings and seals from the inside out, brake conversion kit and a bunch of other stuff that's needs to be finished and a 60 for the rear.

Once I've got them finished and the front trussed, I'll be running 12" kings up front and probably doing a XJ SUA in the rear to do a quick stretch and get it going so I can wheel it and work all the kinks out of the front. And once that's done I'll eventually do a link/coilover setup on the rear. That'll be my first, made from scratch stretch and link setup so it's going to be fun.

Good Morning. Cant' say that I'm a long time lurker, or even a huge enthusiast haha. That all changed when I bought my dream truck. I have a new Ford Raptor (yes hence the name) that I intend on using for its purpose. I'm not far from the VA/NC border and travel often down to OBX and EC areas. I came to learn a few things about wheelin', good spots to go (mostly that my wide 83" "baja" truck can fit), and really just meet some new folks. Glad to be here and I will post photos and such when I'm not at work cruising forums haha.

Hello everyone! I just purchased a 2013 Wrangler JKU in April and came across this site trying to find trail/club/general offroad information for NC. I'm in the Wilmington area and would love to meet some other people in the area to go wheeling with. I'm not planning to go too crazy on my rig, right now I just have a 2" lift with 33" mud terrains along with a few other small mods. I was in in Uwharrie a couple weeks ago and had a blast. I really want to get back out there asap but I don't want to do it alone. Any clubs/groups in the Wilmington area I could meet up with?
Here's a pic of my Jeep

Hi all, been gone a while and decided to check in a see what's happening. See lots of new names and a couple I remember, a few from other places I hang out.

New guy on the forum here ... I'm just north of Raleigh and pretty disappointed in the lack of public land access in NC. I've been out the the coast and up into VA for some great wheeling, but would love to find some in central NC (closer than Uwharrie, which is 2 1/2 hours from my place). Anyway, thinking of joining the CNC4x4 club and looking forward to meeting some of you folks out on the trails.

What’s going on ladies and gents,

I’m Jake and I’m from good old California, and I’m currently in Jacksonville NC.

I own too many vehicles to rattle off so I’ll just start by saying I drive a Jeep and it’s cool..

And yes. I’m flexing on a stump.. in my backyard, you can go ahead and put your pitchforks and torches away.
