New Member Check In - Post HERE <------------------

New member from Raleigh. The wife and I like to travel all over the country and ride. We usually make a couple of trips a year out to Moab / Sand Hollow. Mostly to stick to TN & KY parks: Windrock, Harlan, etc.. Been into wheeling for 30+ years. Prefer hardcore wheeling but will ride most anything. Always looking for good folks to ride with and hang out.

Macines: Rtired Ultra 4 buggy on 40s & RZR Turbo on portals & 37s

I'm a new member living in Fayetteville, but I'll be moving to Boone in a couple months and was looking into maybe getting a jeep somewhere in the future and decided to get into here to hopefully learn a few things about jeeps(or not, we'll see).

What @Pollux is not saying is that he has been lurking on these forums by looking over my shoulder for years. He's also been to both get togethers.

He's just getting his own account now that he's moving out to college. That, and he doesn't trust my jeep advice :dumbass:

Hey Guys and Gals! Last year I was able to rescue a Ford Bronco from the field it had been sitting in for the last18 years and I've got it running and driving again. My plans for it are to get out and enjoy it and mod itas I go.

Welcome. What year Bronco? Which motor does it have!

Signed up a while back and just now checking in. Mainly hangout on irate4x4 and thought I would try here. Have an 85 toyota, nothing special. Been to Uwaharrie a few times and want to go to other parks when time allows.

New guy here from just outside Knoxville TN. Spend a lot of time in Western NC exploring figured I would join here as well. Have a 85 CJ7 crawler project DD a 19 Ram1500 and wife has a 17 Forester XT both DDs are set up for forest road explorations. I also own 36 Degrees North Overland, a overland and off road start up currently making molle panels but will continue to expand product offerings as time allows.

welcome aboard the crazy train lol. Nice rig!!

God bless, I haven't been on this forum in a hot minute. Pleasantly surprised my account still works. Hope to got an xj going in a few years after the family is ready and join yall again šŸ˜

Somewhat New, more like returning after long absence Guy from Asheville dropping by to check things out. Used to play around these parts quite a bit, but then moved to UT for 7 years. Been back in WNC for a few years now, but wound up busy with a drivetrain swap in my FSJ smack in the middle of a major overhaul on my TJ buggy, so I've been out of the game for a bit. Chief's been up and around as my DD for a while now, but the TJ is fresh out of the shop and still doing some engine tuning and general shaking down. Need to get back out and hook up with a good crew though once she's all settled in. Also, anyone know any options for sorting out a rig that are closer than Gulches? Bit of a drive from AVL just to spend a few hours tuning and sorting.

And an old photo of the TJ, for any who might remember it from way back.

Welcome!

Where is that old shot of the TJ from? Kinda looks like some of the trails outside of El Paso I started out on.

Itā€™s in Johnson Valley. Off hand I want to say itā€™s called ā€œ60s and Stickiesā€, but donā€™t quote me on that. Kinda fun trail, though thereā€™s only a few tricky spots. That was during KOH though, and itā€™s clear of the courses so makes for some fun, low key mid-week playing.
