No mayo?
Quite literally one of my all time favorites.
It’s either/or. I ate a lot of Mayo and banana sammiches as a kid, but these days I gravitate towards PB.

A banana sammich with crunchy Jif and Dukes is classic southern fare. It ranks right up there with fried bologna sammich with French’s and Moon Pies with an RC Cola.If I could go back and quote all you nut jobs about the Mayo on a banana/peanut butter/ wiener wrapper sammich I would but, I’d just like to make one thing clear to the lot of ya. Meat and “meat style condiments” is fully acceptable. Putting meat style condiments on other things is just weird. Southern or not.
Make a banana sammich and just do one corner with both, give it a try. Must be Dukes, not any of that fake ass mayo.

We ate there in August on our way back from Maine! It was fantastic!
