New to NC4x4

Welcome to the board, I don't care what you drive or wheel! Now trail food is a different subject!

Welcome. Cya out there.

Hey, X 2, on what "amcjeepman" said! I thought Darnell Creek was closed, or developed. How much is open/left?

Not much left out there, but it's still good for a few hours of wheeling with the family. Much of it is private now. You won't get hung up on too many rocks, but there's plenty of mud, streams and waterfalls. I've seen some very daring folks go up the waterfall in dirt bikes and had heard that a few folks went up the waterfall in buggies a few years back, but never confirmed it. I wheel with my family including my 3-yr old, so I like to play it safe and don't jump off cliffs or anything crazy like that.

It's still plenty of fun for an afternoon of wheeling and some outdoor time - throw the football around, build a campfire, hike, etc. I'll put something together next summer and post it here. I may even let some Toyotas and Chevys come.

Tax its good to see you over here
I've seen other pics of his place in the mountains. I vote for a NC4x4 meet at your place in the spring

What's up tkob! Good to see you here too. We should get together after tax season sometime - in the summer. I'll let you know.
