I've done a little towing but it would be harder with my jeep on the trailer :driver:I'll let ya know as the week progresses
 
yup...pretty much zoom right in there with google. looks like a lot of space to get out there and play.

Are there designated trails?
 
Give rlg999 on here a holler. He lives on the lake and knows about as much about the land as I do. He may be able to show you all around. I could but I have to work this weekend.

And like Ray said, the trail starting on steel bridge rd. is much better.
 
Would it be worth the trip to take a rig like mine out there from mooresville. I guess it'd prob end up costing like $100+ in gas (at least for me - 6mpg towing) so I'm sure those of us that have to trailer there rigs would like to know what kinda terrain there is b4 we drag our junk all the way out there.

Maybe someone take a bunch of pics when you go out there and post em up.

I'm just pondering, might try to do some wheeling over christmas break, I have yet to really do a test run with the new setup on the Jeep cause at the farm i pretty much had no front driveshaft or radiator the whole time :lol:

course I'll have a-friggin-lot to fix on my Z71 and Jeep b4 I can even wheel :shaking:

this is the same place that they have harescramble races at. mid east ran there i know.i beleve that atvs are the primary draw there. but i did see a video the other day on u tube of some pretty moded rigs playing there too.

I took those vids. And yes the camera i used sucks. Thats the only decent ledge for HUGE rigs like the ones on the video. They are running 47" LTB's and made that hill their bitch. For smaller rigs (stock to mild mods) Lake Houser is a pretty good place to ride. I think they are open year round. If anybody goes, I'd be glad to tag along in the Jeep or the Rhino. :driver:
 
Local here. Just posted a new thread on LAND about houser. Like the locals said its a good ride. Nothing to hardcore. Ive been goin there before it was an OFFICIAL PARK Im going to have a meet/tag along around january or febuary and have some fun on the trails. And maybe it will prove to them that they need to make as much trails as they do for atvs! Becuase They are making new trails which is good but its not good if we cant FIT IN THEM! Nothing like a brush guard cant handle!
