Yes, and also so I didn’t have to turn the tube down. If I recall correctly it was like ~10 thou oversize compared to the ID of the driveshaft, so it gave it a sort of pre-tensioned press fit without being way overboard. All it needed to do was align the two halves until it was tacked and give me some extra metal to burn into.

Yes and no. I’ve barely touched it since last year. Need to stick on 2 more fender flares and install/plumb/wire the locker pumps. And then worry about all the other stuff on the list. I’ll probably start Thursday night, and load it on the trailer and head to Uwharrie midday Friday :laughing:

Don't forget to check the "filters" (injectors) for orange water... cause they's both sleeping in the same bed/shed 🤣

Ha, I wish. XJ is parked up the hill from the shop so I can bump start it. Something is causing parasitic drain that kills the battery in less than a week. Instead of fixing it, I just park up the hill haha.

About 0.180" difference on the centerbore but I'll make it work.

A few minor things this evening.

Cut the fenders to match the new flares

And then precision bent it into a seam with a 4lb sledge hammer.

Also cut off some extra bumper in the front.

And added the SumoSprings in the rear.

And installed the 2" spacers on the 1.25" spacers so the Rockzillas can be stanced correctly instead of all tucked in.

Then realized I'm all achy and snotty and running a fever and have a sore throat and will probably be worthless for 2-3 days so it's a good thing I got a little jump on it.
 
Finally feeling a little better. Finished the Notch Xmax flares on the driver side today, trimmed the front bumper wings back even more after I took these pics, painted the RZR wheels, and put some ugly tars on it.

And hired some help to paint that stupid turquoise diff cover.

Also fiddled with the rear bumper light wiring and locker compressor pumps. Odds of having working lockers by Friday is very low, but not entirely zero.
 
Got a little bit more done today. Mostly just wiring for the lights on the rear bumper, checking over things, testing the lockers to see if it's even worth trying to get the locker pumps installed, etc. I order some additional wiring connectors from Amazon that should be here overnight so hopefully I can get that finished and tidied in the morning.

It's nearly 11pm, so now it's time to actually start prepping for tomorrow

The seats and the stroker are off the table for this weekend. If I can run some wiring to the locker pumps, then maybe I'll get them mounted too. The hose to the axle is the easy part. I know the list says change diff fluid, but it only has like a hundred miles on it since last year and it was fine last year so we're just gonna roll with that. Wish me luck, see y'all in a few hours haha.
