if its got a rear sway bar remove it, you dont need it for the street

Weld the rear R/p. That's fix it.

I picked up a 90 cherokee and thought the same thing,stock for stock it wouldnt go near as good as my montero.But after a little driving off road,and a little more planning on my lines I could go no problem.I added some agressive tires,but havent tried them out yet.
Gonna do a lift,33's and some lockers this summer,,I hope.
