[Nov 8, 2014] Veterans Ride (Eldorado, NC)

Only a little over two months away! Still working hard on the ride, we will have many special guests from 4wheel to heal joining us this year. I am very excited for us to show them the comradary we share as wheelers and brothers and sisters in arms.

If you are going to make it to the ride please let me know through the attendance pole at the beginning of the thread, this helps with headcount!

The Cogburns will be there! :D

If you're taking Tina, can Tanya ride with me? My wife won't wheel and I always wheel better with a hottie in the passenger seat, even one that screams every time you get on something hard.

Door is wide open on that last one.

I am going to try to make this ride.

Heck no! Since Chris is taking Tina, Tanya is riding with me! -Eva

Big news!! We will be welcoming back Cub Scout Pack 509 from Farmer nc, they will be joining us for the weekend to observe what Veterans day is all about and join in the days activity. They will be serving up supper in support of the pack, consisting of Chili, Baked Taters with all the fixens, and baked goods for desert. Sounds like a heck of a meal on a good cold day!

I still plan on making this. I haven't been involved much lately. Amazing how busy I've been now that I have a family. I haven't touched the jeep hardly. Hoping to get my dad to attend since he is also a veteran.

We will have members of the Carolina Trail Blazers available saturday for guided rides for every capabillity group, or you can chose to ride in groups of your own.

BigJUGGY Bros. bringin' the BEAST..!!

Challenge Coins are in! Big thanks to Josh Price for designing our coin for all our veterans again this year! Every Veteran through the gate will have one!

Can you bring a buggy as long as you unload at the trail? If not why?

Yep, sure can. Easiest way is to come into the training center and leave it on the trailer, join us for the ride safety breif and plan of events, then when your group/freinds/whoever you are riding with just have them stop and let you offload at whatever lot you choose in the forest. If it is a licensed and tagged buggy you are good to go to drive in from the training center.
