[Nov 9, 2018] 8th Annual URE Veterans Ride (8th annual veterans ride)

Ride will take place Nov 9-10. Camping is free for the weekend and opens at 3pm Nov 8th. There will be guided trail rides on Big Creek and Grand Overland District both days. There is a $50 donation for these guided rides. Madison Rising is performing Friday night in Troy starting at 6pm. The RTI ramp and the obstacle course will be open both days for a $10 donation.

The vehicle show will take place Friday afternoon with judging at 4:00pm for a $10 donation. There will be Broken Parts Trophies for Most Patriotic, Coolest, RTI winner with a $100 cash prize for most patriotic, $50 cash prize for coolest, and $25 cash prize for best RTI score.

Bikin' Dads will be bringing their kids bike obstacle course for your little ones to enjoy a challenge themselves. Chili will once again be provided by the local scout troop. The closing ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, followed by the raffle. There will also be burn barrels around the area to stay warm during the raffle. This year we will have a veteran only raffle for adventure packages!
 
Cheyenne Keener @ Bethel Grocery Hunting and Fishing has stepped up and donated a Diamondback AR for a raffle and all proceeds going to True Patriot The AR will be at the event and all paperwork and background check will be done onsite by Cheyenne so the winner can take it home with them. For you to claim the AR you have to be able to legally own a gun and pass background checks. If the winner isn’t able to pass background checks we will have a couple alternate tickets drawn as back up.

Lost all mine in a tragic boating accident ya know...
The High Point 9mm i had is gonna be hard to replace due to how "rare" it is.
 
Is Friday the only big creek run? Trying to figure out if I can make this event. Or what's going on Saturday and Sunday.

I hope URE ain’t as crazy as it was today. Lol. It’ll be my first vet weekend. Looking forward to it and another good time with CTB.
 
Quick question... is there anywhere near the outpost to dump camper tanks?
