Now this is speeding!

He should have said the throttle stuck it is a toyota

I heard on the radio yesterday that he was on perth road. that is definitely NOT the place to be going that speed- I don't care who you are. My vote is for confiscation of the car and re-sale at public auction. You know I'd be there with a bidding paddle (until it got past $100)....

It wasn't his car.

Honestly guys...this is all taken out of context, he was actually just trying to set the high score on that particular officer's radar gun. Apparently, he did, and they stopped him to give him the award to prove it.

Take it for what it is worth. i drive that road about every other day. It often has state troopers and sheriffs on it. It was not to long ago there was a pusuit with an officer wrecked on that road. tore the car up. Perth road is not a good choice to do that. now I can think of many good places where you can get alot of speed with very little potiental of collaterial damage. I do think in this area they need to make an example out of some of the nascar people that think they do what they want because they infamous.

I disagree with that last statement (in bold). I have not seen one time where he has tried to fight this like he was entitled to speed because he's a professional driver... He ran a $385,000 supercar up to 130mph having fun/showing off to his wife, who knows.. he got busted.. and will deal with it. I'm not sure where his being famous has anything to do w/ his treatment? Anyone of us could get out of that ticket if we pay an attorney enough.

I also like how the news keep posting headlines of him saying, "It's a toy" like it's something negative or putting down us common folk.. Well it's a toy to him, he's just fortunate enough to be able to have $300,000+ toys....

Lots of history of racers being dumb around that area. Rob Moroso died and killed another driver and paralized his girlfriend in a drunk driving crash years ago..on 150 near perth rd ( I think) and just a few years ago, although it was never a huge story...Ole Micheal Waltrip wrecked and fled the scene ,avoiding dui(I think) Doolie rd.??

I installed some floors for a Troutman po po and he had an album with copies of tickets that he and other po pos had given to various racers and others over the years.
It was cool to see...even Mike Joy and Roger Penski was in the book for speeding.
