I tend to agree more with the Mayors. Each County is different. But I understand from the Governors point, one size fits all. Mecklenburg, is Still on the increase, of infections & deaths. Gaston county, like others, Much less problem! Yet, I'm 1 mile from Mecklenburg, so How Do you draw the line? Same as right this moment, Sever Storms T Tornado warnings, are the top of the news. Yet this first storm, passed me, no more than a hard rain, with little to no rain. Not, what the Radar is showing.

Aren't most of the Charlotte area deaths from care facilities?

They announced this week that three people were infected at the assisted living place my grandmother was at when she fell.Glad she doesn’t have to deal w all the problems that has brought.

You exercise your freedom as a 'Murican and stay home if you CHOOSE to. Whether the governor, mayor, president or whomever SAY it's ok to go out, is not a firing squad summoning you to Walmart or Lowes. We still have the freedom to say "hell naw I'm good right here"

How so many social media squawkers with vocal diarrhea feeling led to make 37 youtube/tictok/tweets an hour denouncing returning to normalcy can't understand they aren't being FORCED to leave their perfect socialism cocoon by a simple "PLAN to return to normal" is beyond me.

So at what point would it be acceptable as a “ ‘Murican” for our government to enforce a SIP? Or a quarantine? How about for the extreme: transmission are of 1:10, 7 day incubation period, 80% lethality. Can a SIP be enforced then?

And on the flip side there’s not much choice when your boss opens back up and tells you to come into the office. Or schools open back up and tell you to Sent Timmy to school.

Quarantine is for the sick. What you are speaking of is tyranny

Can a SIP be enforced then?
It would be a bloodbath, and politicians would be dropping like flies

On the contrary. you ABSOLUTELY have a choice. Whether or not you want to admit it, that choice is over money. Simply put. If you refuse to go to work you lose your job. I.E. your income... See also: MONEY.

So it boils down to money vs moral high ground. Which one are you willing to compromise?

As far as the kids.....see also Home Schooling.

There are choices.....which do you compromise?

Nope not so simple. You have the ILLUSION of choice. No Money = no food, shelter, etc. = starvation and death. There is no choice there.

Homeschooling is not an option for a lot of parents and a lot of kids. Either logistically or educationally.

So which one are you willing to sacrifice? Your health or death?

Your government will take care of you....right?

You've done it now for more than a month

So which one are you willing to sacrifice? Your health or death?

I'm here in the office. I've made my choice
