I have a private mover that will come for it as soon as the money clears in your account.

I have paypal and use it a lot but I will not ship my truck site unseen.. its a trail rig and its next home will be with someone that knows the ends and outs of the sport. And with mention from craigslist I'm not going to due business with anyone that wants to do a sketchy deal. Bottom line.

I understand how you feel but i am an engineer and i work on the sea i am not available to pay you with any cash and i have money on my PayPal to but this i will be very much happy if you can let us go through the most better and secured online Payment which is PayPal . I would like you to get back to me with your full Name & PayPal E-mail Address so I can proceed with the payment.

I would ask him how he plans to use the truck if he is out at sea.

you should let him proceed with his stupid payment, then keep the money AND the truck just for him being such an idiot!

i have received these same emails also.

here are few tips i have done to avoid these scams:
dont use email reply
put your phone number in the add something like this 7o4 - 555 - 555five. use letter o instead of zero and write out a least one number.
or use paint program and put your phone number as a picture

craigslist is awesome and i feel so much better using it now.

Honestly land for truck would be a good investment, I'm just not sure I would trust THAT guy!
 
Ive had the paypal guy recently.
What I did is tell him "I suspect you want to use paypal so you can dispute the charges and steal my item. Thieves do it all the time as Paypal favors buyers. Sorry."
 
I get a email or a text with the same exact thing. Especially about his dad buying it. I got the same response on a dirt bike once. He asked if it was in good condition and I said its ragged out smokes burns oil and leaks fuel. he said okay that's fine I agree with your price proceed to receiving payment. lol.
