One Ton 2nd gen Tacoma Build

Made a new rear shaft tonight cause I’m not at gulches.
Used part of a super duty shaft. 5/16 wall DOM and part of the stock front shaft from the Tacoma.

Well, my welds failed on the rear driveline.
Also, I was winching and it stopped all of the sudden. Not sure what went wrong, but after that, the battery would not charge back up. Thinking I blew my alternator??

That sucks. Where were you at? Make sure you didnt melt your ground wires.

Trying to bounce up the right side of Daniel at URE where it opens up on the wide hill. Right before the top.
No wires are melted. Traced everything back and checked all fuses. Everything looks good.

Uwharrie was a success again last weekend. Did everything I wanted. Didn’t break anything.
fixed the charging issue and the rear driveshaft night before I left.
Winch needs a new solenoid. Jumped it across and wound up the cable so I could wheel.

When driving back to the trailer after the last trail, it started to sputter and the CEL was blinking. It’s a misfire code. Gotta figure that out. But now it runs great at the house. Who knows.

That square body looks pretty sweet too
My buddy Elliot has had it for years. An old blazer on tons with a doubler. He needs some beadlocks and tires.

So the taco survived Harlan. The front fenders are bashed up pretty bad now.

Also, I posted it on Facebook for sale and it sold in less than a week.
Waiting on a check from a fellow in California.
It’s new home will be 45mins from the rubicon.
Guy seems to be pretty cool. Has a bad ass buggy and just wants something to cruise the rubicon in with his family.

he wouldn’t trade straight up. lol

Hopefully that Purple YJ "build" that has been going on for YEARS
Yeah I need to get it to a roller then get it back from @hurt4x4 ’s shop so I can work on it at mine.
I’m tempted to take the cash from this truck and just pay someone to finish it at this point.

DO IT!

It needs to get finished so we can heckle you not being able to drive and you not have an excuse about the "rig not being capable enough" :fuck-you::laughing:

Edit* I did see the beat down you gave @77GreenMachine old XJ. Was quite impressed

I appreciate the compliment. I know how to drive pretty good. I just hate listening to spotters... lol
