We are having an open ride for that Saturday to raise some money for a family that is in bad need of some assistance. Gates will open at 8am and close at 6pm. All proceeds will go to the family so come out and have a great time. Fees are $10 per rig $5 per person for the day
What kind of bathroom facilities are nearby? I might try to get my wife and kids (3 and 5 year olds) to ride out but would need to know what to be prepared for. I see that there are a couple businesses not too far away, but will there be (are there) port-a-johns or anything? I see that there are a few business close on google maps.

Yes we always have port-a-Johns. We also have a wash station with them to wash your hands

where r the flats located??

Address for GPS, Mapquest, or google maps

3594 Hwy 221 south
Marion NC

Easy directions I-40 to exit 85. Turn and go north on hwy 221. After the interstate bride you will pass a paved road on the left, then a blocked cabled entrance to the propriety, then turn into the very next graveled driveway that will take you up to the property.
Once you are at the top, there will be a station set up to pay for your day of riding. $5 a person, and $10 for your rig if you are taking it on the trails. Kids 15 and under are free. ATV's, UTV's and motorcycles are not permitted. You may see some ATV's but they are only operated by Rock Corps Members.
We do require all drivers and riders to wear seat belts or harnesses. Fire Extinguishers are also required for all trail vehicles. If you want to stop get out and watch others on an obstacle, please pull off of the trail and NOT block the trail so others can keep the flow going. If you find you can't get up an obstacle, please either back out, or use your recovery equipment to get yourself out. Please use tree savers on out tree's, just as you would anywhere else. We will have trash cans available. Please use them or keep your trash in your rigs. We ask that any pets be leashed also. Absolutely no alcohol is permitted on the property. Don't be the one who is asked to leave because of this.

Number one rule, is to come and enjoy yourself. We want everyone to have a blast!

Also note there will not be any concessions at this One day event. So be prepared to bring your lunch, or leave the property to go to one of the local eateries.

Is there room to park and unload a Semi with a 50' low boy trailer? Or is there an other place for big and long trailers? Thanks

There is plenty of parking. Now, how dry it is will defiantly have a bearing on whether or not it's a good idea to bring that heavy of a tow rig up there. Only you will be able to make that choice. The parking area is big, it's flat and it usually dries pretty fast. A big rig could also park on the side of the road in the grass, but I am not sure how the State guys will respond to doing that.

looking forward to the d-max being west bound and down loaded down with the ol yota saturday morning!

Can't wait!

Looks like we're out. We have to have all six of our injectors replaced. Won't be able to get to it till spring. Dang it! Post pics when you can of this event!
