Opinions on Wrangler value

Thinking about buying a 4 door so my 2004 LJ might be on the market. Bone stock. Just turned 66k. Everything works perfect and it's super clean. I bought it from a good friend of mine about 4 years ago. It was wrecked when I bought it and now has a salvage title. When I bought it I took both doors off (driver door mangled) and drove it for weeks. No frame damage at all and all sheet metal replaced. Body work done by the best in my area. But....like I said it does have a salvage title.

I've got a Honda Pilot with around 250,000 miles, and about $40 bucks in my wallet. Trade you straight up.

If you are good at letting it go for $10k start about $11900 or so. Always go down but you can't go up.

Low miles will bring dollars. Those year LJ's are desirable. I would start at $14,000.

10k is probably about right, purely because of salvage title. Clear title would bring the 14k.

I don't really understand why a salvage title scares people, for me, as long as the vehicle is straight (frame) and in good mechanical order I don't mind what the title says. Is there a reason people are worried about salvage titles??

And when back in the day there were shops that tacked two bodies together and sold it as good and it fell apart on the road...

Insurance companies will salvage vehicles these days for next to nothing... 20 years ago if a car had a salvage title it was seriously f**ked up.
I've bought and sold lots of salvage vehicles with minimal concern. Check for frame damage... Inspect repair... Move on.

As said... I would imagine 10-12k ballpark. I might ask 12,500-13,500 to allow for wiggle room.
