You're pretty handy. You can do this.

I had to build frame parts for my Willys truck where I didn't want a square edge looking like a patch. I do work at a manufacturer of big things and they have a metal sub who bends their parts as needed. The bends on 3/16' steel matched the Willys frame contour perfectly, much like this/these bend/s. Follow this guys lead and do the same. It'll take a lot of time but you'll get what you want. I could do this if I wanted to and had the time. And I'm not that good at fab work but my shit ain't all cornery either.

The huge grills and frame height of modern trucks really make designing a sleek bumper a pain. Be glad this truck isn't newer. The more modern the bigger the gangsta grill.

Fender lines and sheet metal should compliment the bumper.....But this is expensive to manufacture.

For curiosities sake...., how difficult would it be to fab up frame mounts from a late model GM(18') to an 03' Dodge 2500? I'm still looking for a bumper to replace my brush guard that has plenty of hits on it from the previous owner.

For reference: Only thing I'd care for is Centering, Clearance, and Coverage.

I have tire steps and also stand on the bumper itself. It hurts way more to have my rib cage supporting my body weight because there's nothing to stand on with the factory bumper. The grille guard on the BuckStop appears to be removable as well and I like that.

I'll straight up tell you that I cannot, in fact build that. Nor do I have the desire to. I'm way too picky to do it myself and don't have the tools I'd need to really get it done right.

This fella said it in as much words. Or 65 dollars an hour til its complete and I sell my soul to the devil. Having neither frame or samples in front of me, I have no idea.

This and you get the customer that says: A "SHitty Built" is half that much!

Or insert almost every other xyz company except "Fabulous Fours". They are ridiculous and they know it . So a premium for the highest tard can be asked for and brought to the table.

Aside from the absolute bare bones pre runner look I love, I would buy an ARB all day long for just about anything they support. Minimal, Stout, and effective without being a complete aerodynamic brick.
And this coming from the man who stopped making some of the nicest xj bumpers I've ever seen. I used to go into rides just to stare at them.

My offer still stands

Drawing it up sounds appealing. The 4000 dollar part doesn't!

It'd be cool if they could do a .dxf (is that the one?) file and then I could cut it out, have stuff bent, and all that locally. Unfortunately, I don't have access to or know anyone that can do it. Hell, if I just had the pieces, I'd weld it up myself.

Then we could sell the files! Graves Fab does that as well as DIY kits and finished bumpers. He makes REALLY nice stuff, but like everyone else, just not for my truck. Everything is flat and/or angled 🙄
