PO WTF's

Behind the dash of my first Jeep Cherokee looked like someone was practicing their electrician skills very badly. I pretty much had to rewire everything to make everything work properly. But, there was a wire that I just could not have connected that was in the back of the jeep on the hatch. The reason for this was that if the wire was connected to the other side it would blow out my dashboard fuse and everything would go dark. This is something that I knew about and I just left it there unconnected. Well my one night, at around midnight or so, a friend says "Hey you have a wire disconnected back here." and before I had the chance to tell him not to connect it he did and all the lights went out while on the highway. Needless to say I had to pull over and change the fuse, after that I just cut the wire.

Bought an 89 YJ. It is my first Jeep. It's all stock and almost no rust. I found a large gauge wire running from the battery to under the carpet behind the back seat. I am guessing for an amp or something. The wire had the insulation stripped back about half an inch or so and the bare copper wire was hanging out and touching the body. Remember, this is connected directly to the hot side of the battery without any fuses in line.

I think the only thing keeping it from arcing was the paint on the body.

supposed to be a push type like on the tj's.. trip to pull a part.. oh and I need a new computer for it/replace driver for lock-up solenoid -- had 2 inches of naked wires on the connector.

I found an issue of PLAYBOY from December of 1999 on top of the gas tank of my old F150 I have no clue how the hell it got there or how the hell it stayed up there for 8 years:shaking:

Not to WTF'ish, but more disgusting. Bought my ZJ this past November and pulled about 3lbs of sunflower seed shells out from under the front and back seats. The driver power seat didn't work, but when I tested all the connections to a power source they all ran fine. Found the memory control module under the right side of the seat and took it apart. Looked like someone gave it a bath in Dr. Pepper...so damn thick full of crud. Gave it a scrub bath of my own and dried it out, worked like a charm.

pulling fuses today trying to figure stuff out, found this lil gem...

First looks like trail fix..but the second one looks like it is arcing perioid...if not...good trail fix.

You may be in the wrong place to post that.

PO of my F-250 straight piped it, but used pipe that was almost a full inch smaller than the rest of the exhaust. I am pretty sure the Cat and Muffler were less restrictive than the small pipe.

I once found a redneck lover letter in a 78 Trans Am begging a girl to take him back after her family threw him out and called the police. It also had references to anal sex and stated the fact that her sister gave better blowjobs.

It was a 79 Trans Am and her sister.... well nevermind - you already know... :)
