Porkchop buggy

I was able to get the axle squared up under it and figured out my lengths of the links.

All the links clear the frame when drooped and the pinion rotates up slightly as well.

With that good news, i pivoted to rebuilding some 4runner calipers i had acquired. The pistons were seized up pretty good so that created another side project...

Pulled out the pistons like a cool spring time breeze... Cleaned them all up afterwards and now to paint before reassembly, or maybe its reassembly then paint? I haven't made my mind up yet on that.

Despite the lack of updates, I have been constantly working on this just about every night after work.

After alot of consideration of how the front driveshaft was going to have to be lengthened due to the now longer drivetrain, i decided to make my own carrier bearing setup.

I had an old toyota pinion i had laying around and machined all the parts. I used the WOD design as a template for how i wanted it to go together.

After I realized that the air shocks i bought we 16", I decided that the rear shock mounts needed to be redesigned so that i could recoup that 2".

That lead into the fabrication of a removable rack for a cooler and action packer that also became the trans cooler mount
