Pressure washer help

Those seals are good for a few years for personal use usually. the bolts tsc has I'm pretty sure you'll always get some rust from those bolts I'd replace if you see piting bc as you prolly know now those pumps are pricey! Unloader is basically a bypass for when you let off the trigger on your pressure wand!

The unloader reroutes the water back into your tank when handle is released the knob and spring increases and decreases pressure on the fly and the other outlet on unloader is for a pressure relief valve in case unloader fails its a safeguard basically to keep from blowing parts or pumps all to hell. Sorry I suck at explaining shit lol any more questions feel free

Quick update:
Got the new piston seals installed.
New wheels mounted.
Hot water coil now flows water.
Replacing all galvanized fittings at pump with brass.

All of the T's and fittings at the pump were full of rust. (Inlet, pressure switch for burner, return from bypass)

Plumbed the bypass directly to the pump eliminated chemical injection and a schraider valve. Much cleaner install. Few odds and ends left and I'll be up and running.

Will probably put chemical injection after heat tank.

Ok on the head there should be 6 brass block offs each one has a little plunger type deal I it if you have that much rust in pipes it's probably blocked and not allowing plunger to close and rebuild pressure through each cylinder may take a few break downs and clean outs to get pressure back tho if substantial amount of rust! Best idea ever for long life is to swap all out to brass I lost 3 days this year on huge job bc of old metal pipe that had failed causing me to pull air into system!

Also if you have any leaks even smallest ones can pull Air into pump but that usually causes a vibration in the pressure line! Wish I was closer I'd stop by and get ya up and running!

I completely disassembled the head. Took out all six of those plungers. Cleaned them. Put them back. All new inlet piping.

After you got it running?

I've had a piece of rust half the size of piece of rice cause this issue many times! I feel like you have a blockage it could be on the valve that adjusts pressure

Spring in the plungers in good shape?

Another update. Put it back together to try it one more time.

Had a 0 degree tip I've been testing with. Well with the great black clog it seems the tip got clogged as well. Put a 25 degree tip on it and lo and behold it's a working.

Now to test the heat coil and related parts.

Any recommendations on a 220v on/off for motor?

Awesome glad you got it going straight!! Not sure on the 220 for it tho I went the easy route and bolted gen up to pulley for my heater plug in!

If it makes ya feel any better I've torn pump and unloader and inductor apart and had a rock stuck in the tip! Insulate the coils on heater if it didn't have any in it also

Getting closer.

Interested to see how hot the water will get.

Cranked it up for a few tonight. Almost scary with the flame on. The water heats up quickly. Never got too hot to not touch. But the fittings sure did. Got another small clog of black stuff in the tip. I'm thinking I'll chase those for a while.

Need to remount the new rear axle to sit level at rest. But for now, its working.

Black stuff not limited to the water coil. This/was the fuel filter leading to the burner. Clogged shut in less than 1hr of run time. No hot water today washing cars.

But, on the plus side I'm getting less and less clogs.
