Project brain

I have it too. I also have a problem of getting deep into a project and when I start to get burned out (usually 1/2-3/4 way), I begin thinking of the next project I want to do instead of focusing on finishing the current one.

This!!!

My sticktoitivness sucks!! My last big project was tearing my old sammi apart and putting yota stuff under it and an 8V in it. I got all the parts, tore it down and then lost interest. JunkYardDog showed up one night and said "quit talking about it and get to work" haha he would just come over and sit on a bucket and stare at me if i didn't need a hand, he even made it a couple of date nights just watching me to keep me motivated. Maybe hire a personal motivator to follow you around to remember stuffs.

Related, when you realize you can't remember what you had meant to put on your list, or what was on it, or whatever - go back to the same physical place you were when you had the original thought. It will come back to you faster.
So that's why when I forget something I need at the parts store I remember right after I get one red light away!! Can spend 30 minutes waiting to think of it, drive around the corner and I remember.

Haha! I tore my Samurai apart last fall, and haven't touched it since.

All this talk about note jotting got me thinking. It must be an older thing, because my memory is too good it seems like. (I'm 30). I can remember every little piece and part used on everything I've ever built. Every other aspect of life is the same. Weekly purchases, passwords, numbers, etc. Granted, I do live very simply compared to some though. I've gone as far as to "tone down" reflections in detail of past events around people who were there also because it gets weird. Oddly enough, I've smoked a ton of marijuana in the past. A ton. Myth busted? Oh, I think so.

I was at the exhaust shop today getting work done on the Trans Am and I remembered to ask for a quote on the exhaust on our shop truck. I was proud of myself until I realized that was another project and nothing really important.

No. By choice never will. ;)
That could be part of it...other part maybe genetics bit kids suck the life and memory out of the parents I know. I know I personally went about 7 years without a whole nights sleep (2 kids under 5)

It's funny because as I read your comment I seen the time stamp :huggy:
