PROJECT: Chop Sticks truggy build

Thanx for the input but I think the serpentine setup will give me a good amount of clearance.

x2

I would shoot for a minimum of 1" clearance. I think I've got a little over that on my cab truck between the water pump and 8274 winch. I've got a 5.0 out of a 92 Mustang GT in my cab truck. It came with the serpentine belt, so I can get you some measurements if you want.

Build looks good.

Finally got the rear tested, I am very happy with it so far. There is a little bit of rear steer but its not a lot maybe 1.5in through the entire susp. cycle. Couldnt let it all the way down to the ground b/c lower links were hitting the frame gig it sitting on.

Got the front axle in place tonight, and found out I'm probly gonna have to cram 3-link in it. The fuel pump won't be the since I'm running p-pane, and may have to relocate oil filter. Might have to find another oil pan too, or do some unspeekable things to the stock one :D I'm really liking the way it is gonna sit, low and big tires....:driver:

Finally made some progress!!

Rolled it outside today just for some pics. Some plans have changed, I will now be EFI, I just think is more pratical for ECORS. So the will be a 22gal fuel cell were the LP tank was. Oh and the radiator is just mounted up front so I could run the engine a little it will still be in the rear.

Changed the radiator mount not sure if it will be like this or angled as in previous pics, I would do some kind of vents in the back window to aid in airflow if it is mounted against the cab. Also might be able to fire the engin up Wed. or Sat. with all the EFI stuff on it :driver:

i think you should keep the radiator in the front..push bar

lookin good daniel!Like how the 39s looks nice and low!

More work done. got exhaust done, had to exit out the fenders b/c I have absolutly no room for the exhaust to be run under the cab. But I think it looks pretty badass. :huggy: Got the tires mounted on my wheels to, I will pull it outside tomarrow and get a pic.

looks awesome. you might get a little too much exhaust in the face with your exhaust ports in front of the driver bay. love the rear tube work. are you going to wrap a body panels around the rear also?
