Project YJ

Progress is looking good

got the pedal problem figured out also

okay, here is what I came up with, the dbw pedal uses the plug connector to send a signal to the throttle body to idle up

so when push the pedal down it turns the rod counter clock wise which would be a pull on the tv cable. If you notice the picture, I am going to use the factory YJ square throttle cable port for this, I made the piece on the pedal have the same angle as the square port on the tub, it should work great

a few pics

yeah man, been trying to things straitened out in this new house

how about a pic of the front driveshaft to transmission clearance. i am thinking about a 700 r4/300 combo in my yj and heard this is an issue with a cv shaft. it looks like yours is clocked really high and may help with the pan being in the way. looking good and thanks.

I will get you one this weekend, plan on having all the drivetrain back in, during mockup I clocked the 300 up in several different locations, where it is now is the only position to clear a one piece driveshaft, and it will be a XJ CV driveshaft

any other clocking position would lead to a 2 piece shaft

Wish I could run a 1 piece, I have to run a 2 piece, friggen Rockwells

is that air cleaner going to clear the radiator or you flipping the intake?

yeah I actually moved the grill/radiator forward a couple inches, but I am running a tarus fan on this one, so it will be close

I ran into problems with the 5.3 TJ I built and had to add another 90 degree elbow and send it back towards the firewall

either way, it will work out

Looking good.
