There is something on your face. Looks like a nest...

that sucks man, I always wear spf 50 or better.. I like being a white boy :p

Basal or squamous cell?

won the lottery w 2 basal cells, one on the forehead and one on the eyelid near the bridge of my nose. Doc thinks a few more spots need to be bioped but he wants to spread out the fun, not do to much at once. My count so far is 5 basal cells and 1 melanoma. Three of the basal cells were on my left arm and shoulder prolly from driving w my arm on the door.

My dad has had melanoma on his neck and had it cut on several times. At one point he asked the doctor if staying out of the sun would help prevent it. The doctor replied "earlier today I saw a patient with rectal melanoma"

rectal melanoma

I've never heard Kanye West summed up in such an accurate way

Thank you for the public service reminder of why I need to keep wearing my long sleeve Colombia fishing shirts and hat during yardwork

You really set up @mommucked to have a cheap shot taken at his selfie pic with the rectal melanoma reference. I won't be the one to do that though.

Seriously hope all goes well and that this was an early catch.

Yea, as Much as I love the Sun, I've been Lucky, And, I got the "Trucker Driver Arm"! [tanned] I finally visited a dermatologist, a couple weeks ago. Been bothered with skin tags, for years, & Now getting Many age spots & bumps. The tags are mostly heredity, so he says. I know of no one in my Family with them. They are harmless. Others are just Old age things, & still, some are Questionable. Not cancerous, at this time, but need to be eliminated. So, larger skin tags, clipped, & others along with the Bad spots, frozen. Getting better, but still not Pretty too look at!
O Yea, going to the Beach next week. Pass the Sun Screen, Please!

Seriously, if you've had a bad sunburn as a kid or spent a lot of time on the beach or on a boat you might want to get checked. Also if you have any small scabs or itchy spots that won't go away, get checked. Our family spent many weeks over many summers at the coast and Kerr Lake camping, boating, fishing etc when I was a kid and teen. My mother has had many various skin cancers removed for more than a decade. My sister is 4 years younger than me and she had about 1/2 of her nose removed and replaced because of skin cancer. They rebuilt her nose w skin and cartilage from her ears, many surgeries and over a year before it was done. My sister only went to the doc after I was diagnosed. She told me she was scared they'd find something and they did when she finally got checked.
