Questions about a roll cage for a YJ?

Whats your opinioin on the poison spyder cages using 3/16ths for the bracket that comes down the front of the door/windshield pillar?

As far as the strength i have no real input, but i mean they've sold a crapload of those cages and people say poisen spider stuff is that hot ish so they have to be worth something

Personally thou that bracket is enough just to not buy the kit, that makes it look like crap IMO

There is some debate about the PSC full cages folding when rolled on pirate. Heres the link

The one that folded on Pirate was a TJ cage. The dash brackets are different than the YJ. And he didn't use the gussets for the dash pieces.

I'm running the PSC front kit and I have no complaints. It has been on its side more times than I can count and hasn't given any problems. IMO, the dash pieces in the YJ kit are well designed.

I will have to second what Travis said. The the way the YJ cage is built and mounted to dash panels is about as strong as one could make it.

www.Goferitoffroad.com did mine..turned out great! They are in Jamestown/High Point. Good fair pricing too.
